“I received my double Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I have my Type 03 and Type 04 certification. I am currently working on my Masters in English as a Second Language (ESL) from DePaul University. This is my fourth year teaching preschool and my first year at Audubon. My mission is for all my students to enjoy learning through discovery. I believe children should learn through interactive activities in and outside of the classroom. I love to take field trips and open my students’ eyes to something new each day. I let the students guide their own learning by expressing what interests them and provide opportunities for them to learn more about these topics. When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy traveling to see friends and family.”
