First Day of School and Important September Dates
Posted by webmaster on September 5th, 2010
Welcome back to school, Audubon families!
Tuesday, Sept 7th is your child’s first day back at Audubon School for the 2010-11 school year.
Student drop off is at 7:30am. Students can play on the playground supervised by staff until the bell rings. Students must be in class by 8am. The bells and the teachers on duty (on playground and near entrances) will help facilitate this.
If you were not able to attend Early Registration Days and do not know your child’s teacher or room number, you can find it posted outside the main office in the first floor hallway. In addition, Audubon’s staff will be on hand Tuesday morning inside and outside of all entrances to help direct your child to his or her lineup spot and/or classroom. Kindergartners and grades 5-8 line up at the Hoyne doors. Grades 1-4 line up at Hamilton doors.
Kindergartners and 1st graders can be walked to their classroom on the first day of school if students and parents prefer it. This should only be done in higher grades when necessary.
